what happens when we destroy the ecosystems and organisms around us without consideration for their importance or the lessons they have to teach us?
i am a graphic designer who is deeply disturbed by this revelation and i know i’m not alone. i have chosen to do my mfa thesis on the connection and collaboration between design, nature, and science. my goal is to inspire designers to consult nature when solving design problems. nature creates ecosystems and organisms that support themselves and produce minimal waste. although i am not calling this a thesis in biomimicry, i am working with many of the tenets that biomimicry espouses; bios = life, mimicry = to copy. for more information please visit the links page.
